Today, our spotlight is on Steve Conenna. Steve holds a pivotal role as the Orlando Branch Manager for the Electrical Division, assembling top-tier teams and orchestrating complex operations with precision. His contributions extend beyond the managerial realm, as evidenced by his integral role in projects that garnered not one, but two Excellence in Construction Awards from the Central Florida chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. The recognition, bestowed upon the Discovery Church Sand Lake Campus and the Grove Bible Chapel projects, underscores a commitment to unparalleled excellence and innovation.

Q: Tell us when you joined Colwill?
A: I became a part of the Colwill team on May 15, 2018.
Q: Can you explain your role and duties?
A: I serve as the Orlando Branch Manager for the electrical division, overseeing all aspects of the electrical division for construction and service.
Q: What are you working on this month?
A: Everything! From finishing the Reyes Lone Oak Warehouse to settling light fixtures at the Silverleaf Apartments project, overseeing a concrete wall at the Rainforest Café Emergency Generator project, and managing projects like the Hideaway Bar, Dr. Phillips Southern Box Food-hall, and Bonnet Creek.
Q: Things about your job that interest you most?
A: No two days are ever the same. There is always something new to learn, and a fresh challenge to tackle and overcome.
Q: What is your favorite part about working at Colwill?
A: The family-like culture. People genuinely care for one another, making it an amazing place to work.
Q: Job you would pursue if not in your current field?
A: I have been doing electrical work for so long that I could not see myself pursuing any other career path.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: Spend quality time with my wife and kids and enjoy outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.
Q: Share a fun fact about yourself that your colleagues might not know.
A: I am married to my High School Sweetheart.
Q: What is your hometown?
A: Born in New York City, but Orlando, Florida, has been my hometown since I was two years old.
