Colwill has teamed up with frequent collaborator Element Commercial Construction, who serves as the general contractor, and Baker Barrios Inc., who leads the architectural design. The OCOM campus is a comprehensive design-build project that demands the involvement of every Colwill department. From electrical and engineering to technology and mechanical, each department closely collaborates to ensure on-time delivery and flawless results.

Our Engineering Group led the project by pulling everything together and serving as the coordination leader between the Architect, General Contractor, Owner, and our internal construction groups. Our Engineering Group was heavily involved in designing lighting levels for each type of room. There are many Classrooms, SIM Lab Rooms, Lecture Halls, Office Areas, etc. which required detailed coordination.
Our Electrical Group aided in the design & construction of the Indoor & Exterior Lighting, Electrical Power, Generator, Fire Alarm, BDA System, Area of Rescue System, Site Lighting, EV Car Chargers, Lighting for the Statue of Dr. Patel, etc.
Our Technologies Group aided in the design & construction of the I.T. Systems Network Wiring, Mass Notification System, Access Control System, CCTV System, and more, many months of planning and meetings were held to select equipment.
Our Mechanical Group aided in the design & construction of the Rooftop HVAC Units, VAV Controls. Offsite prefabrication of the ductwork was utilized to help shorten the installation timeframe.
